I like to get up early in the morning to read, write, draw and pray. Our little cat Theo, gets up early too, and jumps in my lap to cuddle. The last few months he has fallen asleep with his paws wrapped around my wrist while I write and draw.. At first I thought this would give me some sort of carpal tunnel issue or whatnot, as his wee but constant pressure was inhibiting my wrist motion as I wrote and drew, but I like his warm cuddly paws around my wrist, so I adjust my wrist and continue on.
I am comforted and touched by this small slight gesture from a little cat who no doubt, has no idea how sweet this is to me or what he is really doing, but I am grateful for his warmth and presence early in the morning and grateful God made these creatures for us.
